After Breakfast drive towards Sitamarhi , peaceful village on the banks of the Ganges. Where you will witness the ONLY Temple of Godess Sita. After a stroll through the village and lunch at Ashram , we headed to the banks of the Ganges where we expected our boat for our trip to Varanasi. A few hours of sailing round the day we eventually camp on a sandy beach on the river .

Early Morning a spectular view of Sun rise on bank of Holy Ganges. We cruise towards Bindhachal. we arrive, Visit famous temple of Kali, once a place of worship Thugs . Small shrines , popular representations of deities and discrete or oversized temples punctuate every moment our trip. Lunch on Board, enroute Visit. School and villages. During cruise you would experience team of Dolphins chasing your boat for winning a race to declare their area. We plant our camp near villages for the night.

At sunrise we cruise to Mirzapur , famous for its carpets and handicrafts of copper and brass, we find a time these small villages , with their clay and straw huts , shaded by a few trees. Ghats and rickshaws , taxis and oxcarts invite us through narrow alleys typical Indian villages wehre you will experience a life of villagers art of making beautiful handmade Carpets , Country Boats for their daily travel and much more.* We camp near villages for the night.

Today with Sunrise we cruise with experience the magicial cruves of holy Ganges around sandstone fort of Chunar. Mughal erected on top of a rocky outcrop overlooking the Ganges, later visit a beautiful NGO where village females create a beautiful hand work on cloth stitching / emborardies. School for young girls education & vocational trainings. Worth to visit. Return on boat & cruise to another village. Pitch camps. Overnight.

We finish our Cruise voyage with enroute stop at Ramnagar where we visit the fort, testimony of former princely families of Varanasi. Continuing until one of the ghat of the city, we landed in Benares , the holy city in Hinduism , now called by its old name , Varanasi, the “city between two rivers ‘, the Varuna and Assi . A rare place and borrowing spirituality , which will mark our minds lasting memories and strong images. Here , blending the rituals of death but also of life. If the Ganges washes all impurities , Benares releases reincarnation … Surrounded by a crowd of pilgrims on the steps of Dasaswamedh Ghat , we witness the evening puja . Offerings of lights, songs invoking Shiva, we are enveloped by the surrounding mystical fervor.

The first light of day we witness sunrise the ritual baths in the morning and show the Ghats is gradually filling visitors, devotees and sadhus . Then we take the pulse of this city, walking the streets of old city to the temple of Durga , through the bazaar to overflowing animation. Far from the bustle of Varanasi, Sarnath peaceful reveals this emblematic place of Buddhism where Buddha delivered his first sermon.

It is free as we enjoy the last moments in Benares before joining the airport for our flight to Delhi. Conducted through the neighborhoods of the capital become familiar, we choose to make a last visit or some shopping before returning to the airport for our return flight.
