Ladakh Motorbike

Ride the Royal Enfield Bullet along the world’s highest motorable roads to Leh, located high on the Tibetan Plateau. This “Roof of the World” region, known as Ladakh, provides a rich variety of experiences, stunning scenery, remote monasteries and a wonderful variety of people – Tibetan, Indian, local ethnic tribes and nomadic leaders.

The ride begins on the “Plains of India” before winding its way up through the Himalayan foothills, which has many picturesque valleys, lakes, villages, rice paddies and orchards.

MOTOR BIKES- The motor bikes provided are Royal Enfield Bullets. The Enfields were originally produced in Britain. After world war II, the factory was transferred to India (Chennai), where they are still in production today. An experienced motor bike mechanic will accompany the tour. All fuel, maintenance and repairs are included.

Day 1: Onboard / Delhi.

Arrival Transfer from Airport to city. Check in at hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Delhi # Chandigarh - Manali (308km).

Early Morning transfer to railway station for superfast train to Chandigarh, – 3 hrs. arrive Chandigarh. meet upon arrival , a short tour of city. Chandigarh purposely built in the 1950’s by the French architect, Le Corbusier. Continue drive straight to reach Manali (1920 M) by covering 308 kms. Arrive Manali and check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Manali

Morning at leisure. Afternoon get acclimatized with your motor bikes with city tour. Manali (4600ft/1400m) is the last town before the road winds its way up to Ladakh and the Tibetan plateau. A beautiful and vibrant town with spectactular scenery, temples and a wide variety of people.Night at Hotel.

Day 4: Manali - Jispa (145 km)

Day 6: Sarchu -Pang (77 km)

Day 7 :: Pang - Rumtse (90 kms) via Tanglang Pass (5360 M)

Day 8 :: Rumtse - Hemis (75 kms)

Day 9 :: Hemis - Alchi (120 kms) Via Thiksey, Shey, Choglamsar , Likir , Saspol

Day 10 :: Alchi - Lamayuru (70 kms)

Days 4-11 are riding through the region known as Ladakh. This region of India marks the boundary between the peaks of the western Himalayas and the vast Tibetan Plateau. The culture is Buddhism, with close cultural and trading ties with Tibet.

The scenery provides an ever changing experience – from the many lush river valleys connected by high altitude passes, to the stark, barren plateau with nomadic villages and herders, all complimented with the high Himalayan peaks in the background. The region has many whitewashed gompas (monasteries) and forts perched on rocky outcrops.

High Himalayan Passes – There are several high altitude passes en route to Leh – Rohtang La (13050ft/3978m), Baralacha La (16050ft/4890m), Lachalung La (16600ft/5065m) and Taglang La (17480ft/5328m).

Day 12 : Leh.

After Breakfast Visit city this full day is free to explore the delights of Leh. Visit Leh palace, Leh gompa & bazaar etc. Afternoon sight-seeing of Shankar, Spituk and Phyang gompas.Our representative will take care of your bike’s maintenance, assured with the mechanic. Night at Hotel.

Day 13 : Leh - Khardungla ride into Nubra Valley - Deskit (130 kms)

After breakfast today is a day for creating history, you will join the Elite Group of motorcyclists to ride the world’s highest motorable road at 18380ft/5600m. Khardung La . Continue for Deskit . Upon arrival visit Deskit Monastery, Deskit Monastery, is the oldest in Nubra valley situated picturesque on a hillock. Deskit village is the largest village in Nubra valley. After visiting the monastery we will have an opportunity to ride on a double humped camel along the sand dunes to Hundar village located 07 kms from Deskit, Double humped bacterian camel was the principal animal of inner Asia used especially on the Northern part of the route beyond Karakoram Pass. From Hundar we will then drive back to Deskit. Night in Camp.

Day 14 : Deskit - Leh (130 kms)

After breakfast drive back from Khardungla to Leh. Hand over the Motor bikes, free time to explore city or rest.Night at Hotel.

Day 15 : Leh / Delhi

Morning after breakfast, Transfer to Airport to connect flight for Delhi. upon arrival Transfer to city. After noon Visit Delhi. Fare well Dinner and re-transfer to International airport to connect flight next destination.

Note:
A) Don’t forget to bring your Valid International Motor Bike Driving License for 100 to 500 CC.
B) String-Wire / Locks to fix your bags on Motor Bike carriers. Sunglasses, First aid medical Kit.
C) A warm traveling Jacket to protect against cold winds and in case it rains. A rain coat and Rain Cover to Protect Your Luggage.
D) Motor Bike has to return in the same condition as handed over. If any Major damages, same would be Charge on actual Cost at the time of returning Motorbike to our team member.
E) A warm good sleeping bag.

Motorbikes (we use fleet of Royal Enfield Bullets Motor Bike of 350 & 500 CC)
Maintenance and repairs. ( 01 to 02 motorbike mechanic will be arranged in all cities).
Motorbike insurance (Comprehensive Insurance).
Motorbike mechanic (Will be provided for above 03 Motor Bikes).
Carrier fitted in all bikes for luggage. Tool Box with some regular motorbike spares.
Driving Helmets. (But we suggest to bring along with). Due to safety Nom/s (Test & Approval).

Price does not include:
Fuel Not Included. (Fuel Station Available at long distance so, one should fill up as per fuel station indicated to avoid shortage of fuel during travel).we provide fuel container to carry fuel for an emergency.
Personal expenses. & Personal travel / Life Insurance.
